STEVE BETTS - 100 GAMES

Steve Betts (right) is the 11th Nomads Sydney North member to play 100th games and he did that at Wakehurst Golf Club in November 2022. He was awarded his 100 game badge by Captain, Damon Cornish.

Here is some interesting info about Steve:​

• Inducted in Aug 2008 at Kooindah Waters  - his Proposer was Ed Thom and his Seconder was Andrew Brown
• He replaced Mark Reading as JVC and served as Club Captain in 2011
  
• In 2010, as VC, he supported the RSPCA and raised $24,565 at his Charity Day
  
• He has attended 7th Australian National tournaments and miseed the 2022 ooindah Nationals as he was in Zimbabwe marrying Susan
• In the 14 years from Jan 2008 since detailed stats were kept:
  • Average score is 29.41
  • Highest score – 41 points twice:
    • at North Ryde in Nov 13
    • at The Springs in Sep 16
  • Lowest score - 19 points at Long Reef in Aug 11
  • Starting handicap at Nomads was 8
  • Average handicap 10.41
  • Lowest handicap was 3 (Jun 13)
  • Highest handicap was 17 (Apr 13)
