2015 Nomads Golf Australia National Tournament - PERTH

Perth Nomads are proud to host the 7th Australia Nomads National Tournament from 23 October 2015 to 25 October 2015 at the Novotel Vines Resort and Country Club, located in the Swan Valley, Perth’s “Valley of Taste”, located just 25 minutes from Perth City and 10 -15 minutes from Perth’s domestic and international airport.
Make a holiday out of it and immerse yourself in the natural scenic and gourmet delights of the Swan Valley. Experience the many wonders along the award-winning Swan Valley Food & Wine Trail, a 32km loop comprising more than 200 attractions including wineries, restaurants, cafes, breweries, distilleries, art galleries, seasonal road-side stalls, heritage, wildlife and family fun.
The Nationals Committee together with the host Club, Perth Nomads, have been working tirelessly since January 2015 to bring you a standard of tournament unsurpassed by others that you have come to expect and the venue, course and facilities chosen are sure to please everyone’s taste and will not disappoint in any way.
Transport
The Ellenbrook Course, a challenging 18-hole golf course in the stunning Swan Valley, awaits your arrival. With lush bent grass greens, amongst the largest in the country, unique bunkering and a beautiful layout, you will be tested on every hole whilst also taking time to soak up the surrounds.
Together the Ellenbrook and The Lakes layout hosted some of the world’s golfing greats including Norman, Els, Player, Langer, Daly, Sorenstam and Campbell during the Heineken Classic 1993-2001. Johnny Walker Classic 2006 & 2009 and the LPGA Lexus Cup 2007. This is your chance to follow in the footsteps of the greats, relaxing and enjoying the fun off the White / Blue Tees. Golf courses in Perth don’t come much better than this.
It doesn’t end on the 18th green either, with local wineries, art galleries, gourmet food and your own Resort facilities of tennis, squash, outdoor swimming pool, terrace barbeque area, restaurants, bars and gymnasium…….partners simply don’t want to leave!
When the day is done, unwind with a glass of world famous Western Australian wine and watch the community of inquisitive kangaroos gently graze in the Resort grounds. They love it here, and so will you.
Your accommodation, having been negotiated at a very special low rate, consists of Single (Sharing) Rooms. Single (Own) Rooms, Double Rooms and Hotel Superior Rooms.
Our Better-Halves accompanying players have not been forgotten. Thank you one and all for letting your partners loose for an entire weekend of golf and celebration. Included in your Goodie Bag is a Swan Valley Guide and Maps which you can study at your leisure to determine which indulgence you wish to partake in. Well- worth visiting are definitely the Margaret River Chocolate Company, Morish Nuts and Mondo Nougat as well as the countless wine farms along the way. Alternatively, indulge yourselves in the amenities offered at Novotel Vines Resort and Country Club. In addition, we have arranged 3 ladies tours for Saturday and Sunday. The 1st tour is Swan River Cruise from Perth to Fremantle and back on-board wine tasting and wonderful views of our city, followed by a tour of the Swan Valley where you have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural scenic and award-winning Swan Valley Wine & Food Trail in the comfort of fully air-conditioned mini-buses. The 3rd tour is a guided tour of our iconic botanical gardens at Kings Park and includes morning tea (and cake, of course)
