HANNAH PARK - 2016 NOMADS SYDNEY NORTH JNJG SPONSORSHIP RECIPIENT
4th July 2016
Dear Nomads,
Thank you so much for supporting me this year again. I really appreciate your help and all the work you do. It really means a lot to me and encourages me in my career as a golfer. I still have room to get better and improve, but I was able to become more stable and consistent with my scores this year. I will work harder not only for myself but also to be a proud Australian representative. I was involved in two big tournaments this year and they were the ‘Australian Girls Amateur’ at Tasmania and ‘NSW State Age Championship’ at Shelly Beach. They were fun, but challenging in different ways.
In Tasmania, I was part of the State team. We were together from the start and made everything through together. We encouraged each other and had fun playing and competing out on the course. I came 5th overall and came 1st in my age group with score of 14 under par. It was a thrilling experience and I learnt the power of teamwork.
The tournament at Shelly Beach last week was a big, tough tournament with raining and storming weather. It was challenging not just physically but also mentally. Even though I could not win the tournament, I am glad that I was part of it as I have learnt to be better prepared to face anything.
I look forward to meeting you again soon and please follow my progress over the coming months and years.
Thank you once again for your continued support.
Kind regards,
Hannah Park.
