14th NOMADS AUSTRALIA GOLF NATIONAL TOURNAMENT
Friday 25th - Sunday 27th October 2024 - KOORALBYN VALLEY GOLF COURSE
G'day Fellow Nomads,
Registrations are now open for the 14th Nomads Australia National Tournament to be held at Kooralbyn Valley Golf Course in the Scenic Rim, Queensland on October 25th to 27th 2024.
Please find the attached player invitation that can be circulated amongst all members. REGISTRATION FORM HERE
Players are asked to register using the online form linked in the attached invitation. Once players complete the online registration form they will be emailed confirmation that we have received their registration for this year's tournament. The invitation summarises the costs per player, approximately $875 per person, this includes tournament entry fee, 2 x nights sharing accommodation, 3 x rounds of golf, tournament shirt and hat, goodie bag, all functions, breakfasts and lunches. Transport and partners are an additional cost.
Please note the following as you may receive questions regarding accommodation. We currently have limited accommodation at Kooralbyn and as a result are only offering shared accommodation at this time. We have had some players (international and local) indicate that they will not require accommodation which will in turn either allow us to increase the field if we have an over subscription or alternatively offer players non-sharing accommodation that prefer not to share with someone else. There is an option in the registration form for members to request non-sharing accommodation if it does become available - we can only offer this once registrations are closed and final numbers are known. Players will be individually contacted if this option becomes available at the start of July.
We have detailed transport arrangements for those travelling into Queensland. Please note on arrival there will be one bus transfer on Friday 25th October from the Brisbane Domestic Airport at approximately 9am, and on departure there will be one bus transfer on Sunday 27th October from Kooralbyn to the Brisbane Domestic Airport at 3pm. Please ensure members that are flying are aware of this (it is detailed in the attached invitation) so that flight arrival and departure times factor this in. If members are travelling outside of these times they will need to make their own travel arrangements.
Registrations will close mid-June with final player selections completed by the end of June. Once final selections are made, players will be individually emailed invoices confirming their selection by mid-July, player payments will need to be made by the end of July.
I will email each club coordinator the list of players that have registered every few weeks to keep you up to date with club numbers. If you require more regular updates please let me know, I can quickly share this data with you. This year's club allocations are listed in the attached invitation.
We have also requested that if members have any questions or issues that they please direct these to each club coordinator who can then discuss these with me directly. This will ensure club coordinators are kept in the loop and keep a clear communication line within each club.
