The Golf Day and the Dinner and Presentation Awards is a great way to end the year and for Jack Newton Junior Golf to acknowledge its many generous sponsors.

2025 Jack Newton Junior Golf Players Player Award
KIARA CONNOLLY-JACKSON
One of the highest honours in sport is to be recognised by your peers. On the PGA Tour, this distinction is known as the Jack Nicklaus Award, named after one of the greatest players to ever grace the game.
This award has been presented to some of the most elite golfers in the world, including Scottie Scheffler, Dustin Johnson, Rory McIlroy, Brooks Koepka, Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, and Tiger Woods — players who have earned the respect and admiration of their fellow competitors.
The 2025 Jack Newton Junior Golf Players Player Award is voted on by the junior golfers of the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation.
When casting their votes, juniors are asked to look beyond results on the scorecard. They are encouraged to recognise someone who sets the standard in junior golf — a player who is respected both on and off the course, who displays outstanding sportsmanship, and who consistently represents the game in the right way.
The recipient of this award is chosen solely by their peers, and it speaks volumes about the impact one individual can have on those around them. This year’s winner is someone who always leads with a big smile, sets a wonderful example for the younger generation of golfers, and is known for being encouraging, responsible, and respectful at all times.
These qualities are exactly why this player was selected by fellow juniors — not just for how they play the game, but for how they carry themselves and support others within the Jack Newton Junior Golf community.

2025 Junior Boy Master of the Masters
SHAYLAN BENNETT
Like the Girls Winner, the Jack Newton Junior Golf Master of the Masters is designed to find the best-performed boy in all Junior Masters Series Events in 2025.
Much like our female counterpart, Mingming, this boy has proven himself time and again on the Jack Newton Junior Golf Masters Series, delivering consistently strong performances throughout the year.
He has truly earned his place as one of the finest talents in junior golf today.
His highlights this year included a 10th-place finish at the Illawarra Junior Masters, 8th at the Macarthur Junior Masters, 4th at the Northern Rivers Junior Masters, 2nd at the Greg Chalmers Junior Masters, and a victory at the Blue Mountains Junior Masters.
He finished the year with an impressive scoring average of 73.67, demonstrating remarkable consistency and skill across multiple events.
These outstanding results reflect his dedication, focus, and determination to excel.
Competing at such a high level across so many tournaments is no small feat, and he has proven himself to be a truly deserving champion.
